Coming from the world of fashion, Jérémy worked as an independent stylist for about ten years before moving towards the photo industry, because he only considered his creations finished when they came to life through photography. It was when he was evolving in the world of fashion that Jérémy Beaufrère wanted to create his brand, Colin du Mont. He wanted a very French-sounding name, in a dream of exporting and took the name of the place where he spent his holidays as a child, an environment full of memories, to which he is very attached: in Montcolin.

Jérémy Beaufrère therefore has a unique perspective, forged not by photographic culture but by the history of art, in which he had to systematically immerse himself in order to create a collection. This photographer thus attaches great importance to the harmony of colors, geometry, textures, symbolism and the universe to which the image must correspond. Jérémy Beaufrère regularly photographs, for his personal pleasure or for private orders, concert photographs, mainly of metal but also, sometimes, opera concerts. He was even invited by Amir to photograph his concert in Brest in 2022.

To describe his vision, Jérémy Beaufrère mentions a bias between fine arts and Gothic magic. This universe implies a dark base in which will emerge very bright colors, chiaroscuro lights inspired by the works of Rembrandt or more accentuated like the tenebrist movement of Caravaggio. The portraits of the guests are generally taken with 35mm, a focal length that he greatly appreciates. The processing of the photos will be carried out in color and in black and white.
