MATHIEU LE GALL

Following in the footsteps of his artist father, Mathieu Le Gall first trained as a letter painter in Auray before specializing in painted optical illusion. A few years later, he returned to live in Brest, with a new obsession in mind: photography.

Armed with his camera, he tirelessly walked the streets of his hometown and casted his gaze over this city with its troubled past. Very quickly, he transposed his dreamlike vision of the city into his photos. He will then transform his photographic art into a new optical illusion. Photographer-author, he contributes to the development of Brest's economic fabric, its architecture, but also its inhabitants who make up the soul of the city.

With solid experience in graphics and art photography, he supports communities and businesses in their communication and respect for their editorial line. Mathieu Le Gall has developed a real ability to realize, create and stage a complete image whether on behalf of a large company or an institution in order to promote its assets and its actions. He has notably worked for several major accounts or institutions, such as Finistère Habitat, Vitré Communauté, Penn ar bed, Arkéa, Crozon Communauté, Brest métropole, CABASSE, Tourisme Bretagne, UBO, Suravenir, SNCF, ADEUPA, Ouest Valorisation, Musée national de la Marine, FAYAT, BOUYGUES CONSTRUCTION, EDF, ENGIE.

Due to his experience and his personality, Mathieu Le Gall is inclined to easily create a bond with his photographed subjects, to possess this famous “easy contact”. A little tip that is essential to building confidence in the subject and creating lively, smiling and unexpected images.
